آیت‌الله جنتی گفت: نمایندگان حق این مردم را ادا کنند و به فکر خودشان و جریانات سیاسی و دوستانشان نباشند و به مردمی خدمت کنند که آنها را انتخاب کرده‌اند، در خدمتگزاری به مردم اولویت‌ها را در نظر بگیرند و به مسائل فرعی و دست دوم نپردازند.وی با اشاره به اینکه انتخابات ریاست‌جمهوری را در پیش داریم، گفت: قانون اساسی شرایط رئیس جمهور را مدیر، مدبر و با تقوا عنوان کرده که باید به این شرایط اهمیت داد. شورای نگهبان باید حواسش را جمع کرده و در تایید صلاحیت‌ها بیش از همه به تقوای کاندیداها توجه کند.رئیس مجلس خبرگان رهبری با بیان اینکه تقوا در حد عدالت و یک درجه بالاتر از عدالت است و طبیعی است که مردم باتقواترین را انتخاب کنند، گفت: امیدوارم کسانی که از سوی شورای نگهبان تایید صلاحیت می‌شوند، از ابتدا تا پایان تقوای لازم را داشته و خادم ملت باشند.آیت‌الله جنتی با تقدیر از اقدامات ضد فساد در قوه قضائیه گفت: از آیت الله رئیسی بابت اقدامات در مبارزه با فساد تشکر می‌کنیم. مبارزه با فساد از خواسته‌های مردم است.
