محمود عباس زاده مشکینی در تشریح جزئیات نشست این کمیسیون اظهار داشت: در این جلسه رئیس سازمان انرژی اتمی به همراه معاونین وی در کمیسیون امنیت ملی و سیاست خارجی حاضر شده و گزارشی را از مذاکرات با گروسی رئیس آژانس بینالمللی انرژی اتمی ارائه دادند. بعد از گزارش ارائه شده مشخص شد که تخطی از قانون اقدام راهبردی برای لغو تحریم ها و صیانت از حقوق ملت صورت نگرفته است، دقیقا سازمان انرژی اتمی در چارچوب قانون حرکت میکند.
سخنگوی کمیسیون امنیت ملی مجلس تصریح کرد: در دیدار گروسی و اسلامی نکاتی به مدیرکل آژانس بین المللی انرژی اتمی منتقل شده است، تاکید شده است که تعاملات آژانس با جمهوری اسلامی باید دو سویه باشد، طبق قانون، آنها متعهد هستند در قبال همکاری های ایران، برای پیشرفت و توسعه فعالیت های صلح آمیز تکنولوژی هسته ای کمک کنند، این کمک ها تا به حال نشده است، این عدم همکاری به طور کامل به مدیرکل منتقل شده است. مدیران کل بر پایه گزارش های غیرواقعی دشمنان، تروریست ها و کسانی که سابقه خوبی در کشور و دنیا نداشته اند، درباره فعالیت ایران گزارش هایی تهیه کرده اند که دراین نشست به گروسی گفته شد دیگر به گزارش های غیرواقعی استناد نکند.
عباس زاده مشکینی همچنین بیان کرد: بحث دیگری که در این سفر به گروسی انتقال داده شده است این بود که وقتی برای اعتمادزایی اطلاعاتی از فعالیت ها و سایت های هسته ای داده می شود، از این اطلاعات برای تهیه گزارش به سازمان ملل و شورای حکام استفاده شود. در این جلسه بر داشتن برنامه توسعه صنعت هسته ای تاکید شده است، چرا که مردم باید ما به ازای این همه فعالیت را شاهد باشند، خوشبختانه برنامه ای برای توسعه صنعتی شروع شده استد، قرار است برای تولید ۸ هزار مگاوات هسته ای در هفته های آینده مناقصه بین المللی آن انجام شود.
