رئیس جمهور با اشاره به افتتاح طرح های ملی جهاد کشاورزی در کشور، افزود: یکی از اهداف ما از افتتاح طرح های ملی در طول بیش از یکسال گذشته این بود که به دنیا بفهمانیم، تحریم ها وفشارها نمی تواند ملت ما را در مسیر رشد و توسعه متوقف کند.
روحانی از کشاورزی به عنوان یک بخش بسیار مهم و استراتژیک برای کشور نام برد و افزود: ماده اولیه بخشی از فعالیتهای صنعتی از حوزه کشاورزی تامین می شود و کشاورزی در واقع هم یک بخش است و هم یک پایه برای بخش صنعت کشور.
رئیس جمهور با تاکید بر اینکه بدون صنعت می توان با سختی زندگی کرد اما بدون کشاورزی اصلا نمی توان زندگی کرد، اظهار داشت: در ۸ سال دولت تدبیر و امید برغم همه تحریم ها، مشکلات و حوادث، در کشاورزی توفیقات بسیار مهمی بدست آورده ایم.
روحانی تصریح کرد: همه تلاش دولت این بوده که در بخش کشاورزی تحولی ایجاد شود و با مقایسه آمار اقدامات انجام شده در ۸ سال گذشته با دوره های قبل می توان این تحول را به خوبی مشاهده کرد.
رئیس جمهور با بیان اینکه اقدامات انجام شده در بخش آبیاری تحت فشار و سامانههای مدرن آبیاری در هشت سال گذشته با کل تاریخ ایران قابل مقایسه است، اظهار داشت: اقدامات انجام شده در این بخش تاثیر بسیار زیادی در صرفهجویی در مصرف آب به همراه دارد.
روحانی افزود: بر اساس گزارش ارائه شده اگر ۲۶۰میلیون مترمکعب آب که به دشت سیستان انتقال یافته قرار بود با روشهای سابق و قدیمی انتقال یابد، حدود ۱۵۰میلیون مترمکعب آب هدر میرفت لذا هدف از راهاندازی این سیستمهای نوین این است که از آب حفاظت شود ضمن اینکه در این دوره بهرهوری نیز ۶ درصد افزایش یافته و از ۳۹ به ۴۵ رسیده است.
رئیس جمهور با تاکید بر اینکه تمام تلاش دولت ایجاد تحول در بخش کشاورزی بوده است، گفت: در هشت سال گذشته در بسیاری از زمینههای کشاورزی به خودکفایی و خوداتکایی رسیدیم و در تولید محصولاتی همچون گندم، دانههای روغنی و کلزا اقدامات بسیار خوبی انجام شده است. همچنین کشت گلخانهای نیز افزایش قابل توجهی یافته است.
روحانی در ادامه به افزایش تولید در حوزه آبزیان اشاره کرد و افزود: در زمینه آبزیان، ماهی و میگو نیز شاهد تحرکات بسیار خوبی هستیم به گونهای که در سال ۹۲ محصول برداشت شده از یک هکتار، حدود ۲٫۶تن بوده است که امروز این میزان به ۴٫۲ تن افزایش یافته است.
رئیس جمهور خاطرنشان کرد: بخش کشاورزی به عنوان تامین کننده امنیت غذایی، صادرات و خودکفایی در بسیاری از محصولات استراتژیک، بسیار حائز اهمیت است. از این رو این هفته تصمیم گرفتیم جایزه هزار تومانی برای گندمکاران در نظر بگیریم و این یک هدیه کوچکی از طرف دولت به کشاورزان عزیز است. امسال با وجود خشکسالی، گندم تولید شده برای خوراک مردم کفایت میکند و نیازهای بخش صنعتی را نیز خریداری میکنیم.
وی با قدردانی از تلاشهای بخش کشاورزی در حوزههای مختلف اظهار داشت: امروز یکی از بخشهایی که برای تولید واکسن تلاش میکند بخش کشاورزی است و سرمسازی رازی مشغول تولید واکسن برای کرونا میباشد و از جمله واکسنهایی است که به ثمر خواهد نشست.
روحانی همچنین در ابتدای سخنان خود در این مراسم، ماه مبارک رمضان را روز دعا و گرفتن حاجات از خداوند بزرگ دانست و اظهار امیدواری کرد دست ظالمان از روی مردم قطع و تحریمها برداشته شود و ویروس کرونا نیز به دست پزشکان و پرستاران و با رعایت مردم مهار گردد.
