زیدآبادی در متن دیگری نوشت: به گمانم سال ۸۰ بود. انجمن اسلامی دانشگاه امیرکبیر برنامۀ افطار برگزار کرده بود و طبق روالِ معمولِ افطاریهایِ آن زمانِ انجمنها، بخشِ اصلی مراسم به سخنرانی افراد مختلف مربوط میشد. من در آن زمان اصطلاحاً “زیرِ حکم” بودم و برخی دوستان توصیهشان این بود که سخنرانی نکنم. در واقع هر کس پشت تریبون میرفت، تمام تلاشش این بود که جملهای تندتر و رادیکالتر از سخنران پیشین بگوید تا شاید در جمعیت تأثیر بیشتری کند. با این وضع، من هم صلاح دیدم که چند جملهای بگویم؛ بنابراین وقتی نوبتم شد، پشت تریبون رفتم و گفتم: چرا ما ایرانیها هر چه در عمل با مانع و شکست بیشتری روبرو میشویم، ذهنیات بلندپروازانهتری پیدا میکنیم؟
بعد توضیح دادم:
برخی نیروها در این کشور ابتدا اعلام کردند که قانون اساسی باید عیناً اجرا شود، اما وقتی که طرف مقابلشان نقض قانون اساسی را تشدید کرد، گفتند پس قانون اساسی باید با قرائتِ دمکراتیک اجراء شود و چون باز هم طرفِ دیگر، اصول بیشتری از قانون اساسی را نقض کرد؛ اعلام کردند حالا که اینطور شد پس قانون اساسی باید اصلاح شود و چون رویۀ نقض قانون از سوی طرف مقابل سرعت گرفت، این بار تأکید کردند که قانون اساسی باید از بیخ و بن تغییر کند. آقا! شما در همان تحمیل اجرای دقیق قانون اساسی به طرف مقابلتان، در عمل ناکام ماندهاید حالا با کدام قدرت و نیرو میخواهید قانون اساسی را از کل و بن تغییر دهید؟ واقعیت این است که ما ایرانیها ناکامیهای عملی خود را میخواهیم از طریق رادیکالیسم ذهنی و لفظی جبران کنیم و این هم نتیجه بخش نیست.
به همین فضای موجود سیاسی بنگرید! برخی بر این گمانند که هر چه سخنان تندتر بگویند و یا آرزوهای دور و درازتر را بیشتر مطرح کنند، مفیدتر خواهند بود. دقیقاً به همین دلیل است که هیچ نیروی سیاسی جدی و کارآمدی که قادر به حل مشکلی عینی از مردم باشد و راهی به سوی آیندهای بهتر بگشاید، در کشور شکل نمیگیرد و تمام تلاشهای پراکندۀ افراد نیز صرف لفظیهای بیبنیاد و طرح آرزوهای دور و دراز و دامن زدن به شکاف فزایندۀ بین عین و ذهن میشود.
اگر علاقۀ واقعی مرا بخواهید، آرزویم این است که تمام نظامهای سیاسی موجود بر روی زمین، از بنیاد برافتند و موجودیتهای تازه و بدیعی که تبلور عدل و آزادی و اخلاق باشند، به جای آنها سر برآورند! اما این آرزو نه مشکلی از مردم تحت فشار و ستم حل میکند و نه کوچکترین لرزشی بر پیکرۀ هیچکدام از نظامهای سیاسی عالم پدید میآورد! اما اگر همین آرزو را هر روز مطرح و با صدای رسا در رسانهها اعلام کنم، جماعتی به شور و شوق میآیند بدون آنکه بپرسند؛ خب حالا این درست، اما چطور و از کدام راه میخواهی به این آرزو جامۀ عمل بپوشانی؟
البته من معتقدم برای آنکه انسان محافظهکار نشود و به وضع موجود تن ندهد، ذهنش باید همیشه چند گام از عینیت اجتماعی جلوتر باشد، اما اگر فاصلۀ این دو بسیار و یا نزدیکِ بینهایت شود، نوعی ذهنیتگرایی رنجور و بیمارگونه و پرخاشجو و عصبی بر آدمی عارض میشود که یا به سرخوردگی و انزوای تلخ میانجامد و یا با اعمال خشونتِ غیرانسانی علیه همنوعان اندکی التیام مییابد! خلاصه آنکه اگر از من میشنوید؛ از افراد مدعی برای هر شعاری که میدهند، راهحل عملی درخواست کنید. اگر راهحلشان به نظرتان معقول و منطقی و قابل اجراء آمد، هوادار او شوید، اما اگر به جای راهحلِ عملی، دُز شعارها را بالا برد و یا به ذهنیات و کلیات ابوالبقا ارجاع داد او را به حال خود بگذارید.
