در اهمیت انتخابات شوراها همین بس که حضرت امام (ره) شوراها را جزء برنامه های اسلام دانسته و تأکید داشتند که قضیه شوراها را یک امر سطحی و یک امر کوچک نشمرید. لذا ضمن اهمیت انتخابات رییس جمهوری و نمایندگی مجلس، شایسته است که انتخابات شوراها تحت الشعاع آنها قرار نگرفته و با ایجاد شور و نشاط انتخاباتی در این چند روز باقیمانده زمینه حضور حداکثری و انتخاب نیروهای را فراهم نمایند که دلسوز، پیگیر، فعال و آشنای به مشکلات شهر و راه های رفع آنها باشند.
ضمن احترام به تمام کاندیدهای محترم که با حضورشان در صحنه انتخابات شور و نشاط خاصی ایجاد کرده و دغدغه آبادانی شهر و دیارمان را دارند، بنده نیز با توجه به اینکه سالها با افتخار در میان مردم شهرم بوده و با غم و شادی و درد و رنج مردم شریف شهر باشت آشنایی داشته و در مناسبات مختلف اجتماعی، فرهنگی و سیاسی همراهشان بوده و احترام تمام طوایف و جریان های فکری را داشته و در بانک ملی خدمتگذار فرهنگیان عزیز، کارمندان شریف ادارات، اصناف و بازاریان بزرگوار و اقشار مختلف مردم عزیز دیارم بوده و هستم و همگی به این خدمتگذارشان نهایت لطف و احترام را داشته اند، لذا در این کار و زار شرکت نموده و چون در حد توان برای خدمت به شهرم با تمام جریانهای سیاسی با هر سلیقه و گرایش فکری همکاری داشته و دارم و در صورتی که مردم شریف شهرم بنده را لایق رأی خود دانسته و انتخاب نمودند، با تمام وجود تمام تلاش خود را به کار خواهم گرفت تا شرمنده الطافشان نگردم. در هر حال، ضمن درخواست حضور و شرکت حداکثری در انتخابات، بنده همیشه خدمتگذار مردم شریف و عزیز شهر باشت و طوایف مختلف، مخصوصا سادات عزیز شهرستان که نور چشم همه ما هستند، خواهم بود، خواه کسانی که بنده را لایق دانسته و منت گذاشته به اینجانب رای دهند و خواه کسانی که به اینجانب رای ندهند.
