او نیز ناتو را متهم کرد و گفت: «متاسفانه ادامه اقدامات تحریک آمیز ناتو با محوریت آمریکا منجر به وضعیتی شده است که منطقه اوراسیا در آستانه ورود به یک بحران فراگیر است.

وی نیز به مانند وزیر امور خارجه اشاره‌ای به اقدام روسیه نکرد و گفت: «جمهوری اسلامی ایران طرفین را به توقف درگیری ها و آتش بس برای مذاکره فوری به منظور حل و فصل سیاسی بحران دعوت نموده و ضرورت رعایت حقوق بین الملل و حقوق بشر دوستانه در درگیریهای نظامی را مجدانه یادآوری می نماید.»
