آذربایجان روز چهارشنبه ۳ اوت از کشته شدن یک سرباز ارتش این کشور بر اثر تیراندازی نیروهای ارمنی در نزدیکی قره باغ خبر داد.  قره‌باغ منطقه‌ای جدایی طلب و تحت نفوذ ایروان است که به رغم تصرف بخش‌های زیادی از آن توسط ارتش آذربایجان در جریان جنگی خونین و شش هفته‌ای در اواخر سال ۲۰۲۰

آذربایجان روز چهارشنبه ۳ اوت از کشته شدن یک سرباز ارتش این کشور بر اثر تیراندازی نیروهای ارمنی در نزدیکی قره باغ خبر داد. 

قره‌باغ منطقه‌ای جدایی طلب و تحت نفوذ ایروان است که به رغم تصرف بخش‌های زیادی از آن توسط ارتش آذربایجان در جریان جنگی خونین و شش هفته‌ای در اواخر سال ۲۰۲۰ همچنان با درگیری‌های پراکنده و بی‌ثباتی همراه است.

وزارت دفاع جمهوری آذربایجان اعلام کرد مواضع ارتش این کشور در منطقه لاچین، حائل بین مرز ارمنستان و قره باغ کوهستانی هدف «آتش شدید» نیروهای ارمنی قرار گرفته است.

این وزارتخانه در بیانیه‌ای تصریح کرد که در پی تیراندازی از سوی «تشکیلات نظامی غیرقانونی ارمنستان» یک سرباز ارتش جمهوری آذربایجان کشته شده است.

در پی انتشار این خبر، اتحادیه اروپا روز چهارشنبه خواستار «توقف فوری درگیری‌ها» بین نیروهای آذربایجان و ارمنستان در قره باغ شد.

سخنگوی جوزپ بورل، رئیس دیپلماسی اروپا در بیانیه‌ای گفت: «کاهش تنش، احترام کامل به آتش‌بس و بازگشت به میز مذاکره برای جستجوی راه‌حل‌های مذاکره ضروری است.»

وی ابراز تاسف کرد که این درگیری ها تاکنون چند کشته و زخمی به جا گذاشته است.

وزارت دفاع روسیه در بیانیه‌ای اعلام کرد: در منطقه ساری‌بابا، مقررات آتش‌بس توسط نیروهای مسلح آذربایجان نقض شده و فرماندهی نیروهای حافظ صلح روسیه با حضور نمایندگان آذربایجان و ارمنستان در حال انجام اقداماتی برای تثبیت وضعیت هستند».

این درگیری‌ها تنش‌های شدید بین باکو و ایروان را در این منطقه کوهستانی که سال ۲۰۲۰ به صحنه جنگی خونین تبدیل شد دوباره زنده کرده است.
